Estonian Rural Development Plan and Strategy

Estonian Rural Development Plan 2007-2013 (ERDP) is targeted at improving the  competitiveness of the agricultural and forestry sector, the environment and the countryside and the quality of life in rural areas and diversifying the rural economy, taking into account the specific characteristics of Estonian rural life. In 2007-2013 programming period the ERDP will provide approximately 935 million EUR of public sector funds for supporting Estonian agriculture and rural areas.
On 20 November 2007, the Committee on Rural Development of the European Commission approved the ERDP. The ERDP received Europan Commission's final approval on November 29, 2007.
